Each year in Missouri and Kansas, the rates for workers compensation disability are updated.
In Kansas, there is one rate for both temporary total disability and permanent disability. The rate is calculated based on the average weekly wage for the 26 weeks before the date of the injury.
If an accident occurs between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017, the maximum rate in Kansas is $627.00.
